Order picking at floor level

Cat® order pickers, essential equipment in the logistics sector, were developed and designed to offer excellent acceleration, speed and braking performance, with an easily accessible and ergonomic driving cab, the best manoeuvrability and the lowest energy consumption on the market. 

Each warehouse is organised differently and each item to be picked has a different size and weight. That's why Cat NO-N2 Series floor level order pickers come as standard with ergonomic fork lifts, whether short or long, or with a liftable operator platform.

Performance

The traction controller ensures fast and smooth acceleration, preventing slippage, even when driving on slippery surfaces.
Regenerative braking is optimised: no more swaying, faultless hill holding, anti-wheel-lock. In addition to the precise controls permitting spot-on positioning in front of the items to be picked, the "Flying Start" function allows the truck to start accelerating before the driver is even fully installed in the cab.

 

Ergonomics & safety

 

 

The driving platform has enough space for comfortable long-distance driving and easy access for the many in and out movements made during picking cycles.

Try the driver's seat for yourself and enjoy the convenience of its height and depth-adjustable steering wheel that suits every size.

The Responsive Drive System (RDS) technology constantly adjusts sensitivity, speed and steering angle limitation for safe driving and continuous control.

High reach order picking

Optimising high reach rack storage is essential to increase the storage density and therefore the profitability of a warehouse. This is what the medium- and high-reach order pickers are designed for. Narrow chassis, low ground clearance and excellent stability up to 12 metres. A well-thought-out, simple but efficient cab ensures comfort, safety, visibility and productivity at all levels.
 

Performance

Lifting capacities, various performance modes and electronic assistance systems maximise the benefits of very narrow aisle and high-reach rack filling. The electronics constantly monitor travel speed, lift height, steering angle and many other parameters to adjust performance in real time to find the best safety/productivity trade-offs.

 

Ergonomics & safety

  

 

The design of the driving platform is optimised: low access height, driver presence sensor on the entire floor, fully integrated two-part control panel that frees up more space for the operator.
Folding side gates secure the application for every reach and switch off all the functions if opened at a height of more than 1.20 metres.
The mast and the driver's protective roof are designed to provide excellent visibility, reducing the risk of accidents while maximising comfort and efficiency.
