ELX electric side loader trucks - Compact, light and intelligent
From 3 to 5 tonnes, the ELX compact electric side loader truck line has been designed to change the European side loader market. The goal was to produce a very efficient and long lasting electric machine capable of efficient work in small spaces.
With a smaller and lighter chassis than its ICE counterpart, it nevertheless has a lower centre of gravity.

Zero emissions
The Baumann ELX side loader forklift truck is very efficient, capable of working in demanding applications. Besides producing zero emissions, this electric truck offers optimum working conditions for the driver thanks to its driving ergonomics and the low noise level of the truck. The absence of the noise associated with an IC engine is an advantage for companies located in inhabited areas, reducing emissions and the noise pollution.
Hydraulic circuit - Concentrated innovations
The ELX series has a steering axle designed specifically for it, with a variable hydraulic system. A hydraulic circuit control means that the pressure is adjusted according to the weight of the load, saving energy and improving the overall efficiency of the equipment.
30% more performance for the batteries
The innovations embodied in the ELX series, the 120 V voltage and the reduction of its weight by 2.5 tonnes have improved battery performance up to 30%.
AC electric circuit
The enormous weight saving and the new "smart" electronic system designed specially by Baumann have considerably optimised the battery resources. This efficiency is boosted even more by a new asynchronous electric circuit specifically powering each device for optimum efficiency.
A better turn radius
The new design of the ELX has also led to a shorter overall length and a small turn radius, while conserving the effective width of the mast and the depth and low height of the deck.
