GX/GXS side loaders - Intensive use and extreme performance

Based on the know-how implemented in the GS 150-180 series, Baumann has developed the GX200, GXS250 models and the largest side loading forklift truck in the world, the GXS 500.

These high tonnage models, ranging between 20 and 60 tonnes, embody the same design and construction philosophy as the lower capacity series. Accordingly, these giants have chassis, drive axles and steering axles that are as reliable, stable and well designed as their smaller counterparts.

If the GX 200 can be manoeuvred freely, the GSX250 can lift up to 25 tonnes with a maximum load centre of 1250 mm, if it is supported by stabilisers.

Responsive controls

To improve the performance of this range, Baumann engineers have made every effort to integrate into the GS range the new hydraulic control components developed for the Baumann electrical ranges. This gives the operator the benefit of the natural movements of side loading trucks together with new options, such as the choice between controls by electronic or manual joysticks.

Designed to last

All Baumann side loaders are designed to last. Changes have been made to the general hydraulic system of the GS series to improve its efficiency and throughput. The result is reliable equipment that fully complies with emissions regulations and features more precise hydraulic control.

Automatic stabilisation system

Once the platform is in a horizontal position, the load stays stable even when the equipment is moving over uneven ground.
