The RDS quickly adapts its performance characteristics to accelerator pedal speed and hydraulic control movements. It also dampens all starts, stops and other actions.
It is triggered when a burst of acceleration or extra torque is needed on ramps or flat ground to maintain a fast and smooth movement.
The automatic curve speed reduction system smoothly adjusts the truck speed and minimises lateral forces.
